FRP spread joy with free Christmas festivities
For many, Christmas is a wonderful time, but for some, it can also be expensive and overwhelming. That’s why we designed our festive calendar around free activities to ensure that everyone can join in the festive fun. The response from our communities was incredibly positive, with countless customers sharing their gratitude and appreciation for the free entertainment.
Some of the free festive experiences included:
- Free digital photos with Santa daily at our beautiful Brickworks Santa Scene, making it easy and affordable for families to capture a professional photo with Santa.
- Sensory Santa photo experience, which allows customers to book 10-minute photo slots early or late to avoid the crowds and enjoy a quieter, calmer setting.
- Pet sessions that allow furry four-legged friends to have their very own paw-trait with Santa. We even had Miss Maple the lamb make a booking!
- Our Breakfast with Santa competition gave 30 kids the opportunity to enjoy a very special morning with Santa himself! They enjoyed a tasty breakfast from Tony & Mark’s, sang Christmas carols, and made Christmas crafts and balloon animals with the Jolly Elves.
- Christmas craft workshops at Yanchep Central, Carramar Village & Brickworks Marketplace brought the community together for creative fun, with kids enjoying an hour-long Christmas craft session where they took home a festive keepsake.
- Shoppers were serenaded by the angelic sounds of the Young Adelaide Voices Choir at Brickworks Marketplace.
- Kids’ face painting, airbrush and glitter tattoos, and balloon art were just some of the free entertainment for families shopping at the centre.
- Roaming Santa and elves at Yanchep Central and Carramar Village spread Christmas magic with surprise visits in the lead-up to Christmas.
Overall, the Christmas campaign was a resounding success. At Brickworks Marketplace alone, more than 1,270 groups visited the Santa photo experience over a 10-day period – representing a 24% increase in daily visits compared to 2023. Additionally, we saw a 65% growth in database subscriptions throughout the Christmas campaign, highlighting the strong engagement and enthusiasm from our community.
